Prayer Rooms for Our Muslim Attendees:

We want all our attendees to feel comfortable and supported at PyCon APAC 2025. That’s why we’ve arranged two (2) dedicated Prayer Rooms to accommodate the spiritual needs of our Muslim community, especially as the conference coincides with Ramadan.

Exploring Quezon City and the Philippines can be an exciting experience, and we want to ensure you feel confident getting around. Here are some friendly tips to help:

  • Traffic Culture is Unique: Drivers here have their own rhythm, and traffic rules like stop signs and pedestrian lanes might not always be followed. Stay alert, and you’ll soon get the hang of it.
  • Ride-Hailing for Convenience: Apps like Grab or Angkas are popular and reliable for getting around comfortably and hassle-free.
  • Plan for Traffic: The roads can get busy, especially during peak hours, so leaving a little earlier than planned can make your day smoother.
  • Cross Streets Safely: Use designated pedestrian crossings and make sure vehicles have stopped before stepping onto the road—better safe than sorry!

Ateneo de Manila University is accessible from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA):

  • Ride-Hailing Services: For a more convenient option, attendees can use Grab, a widely used ride-hailing app in the Philippines. There’s also a go-to ride-hailing app for moto-taxis like Move It and Angkas.

Caution: Some taxi drivers may attempt to charge unmetered fares to foreigners. If you prefer a set fare, we suggest using Grab, which provides transparent pricing.
